The\u00a0Pentagon\u2018s dedicated\u00a0UFO\u00a0investigations office has fielded at least 291 UFO cases within the past year, according to a report made public late Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Some of these seemingly advanced craft appeared to exhibit \u2018concerning performance characteristics,\u2019 the military\u2019s UFO investigators wrote, including \u2018high-speed travel\u2019 and \u2018unusual maneuverability.\u2019<\/p>\n

The report caps off a summer H\u0e4f\u03c4 with extraterrestrial intrigue in Washington, where\u00a0multiple government UFO whistleblowers\u00a0have come forward, some publicly, some behind closed doors, with allegations of an illegal UFO crash retrieval program.<\/p>\n

In fact, the Pentagon UFO head said \u2018a lot\u2019 of these UFO cases have been referred to law enforcement and, in some serious cases, US counterintelligence investigators.<\/p>\n

While that new report concludes that none of 2023\u2019s airborne mysteries were the result of classified US programs, the Pentagon\u2019s UFO chief told reporters that a few UFOs displayed \u2018concerning\u2019 signs of being made by America\u2019s foreign adversaries<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2018A lot\u2019 of UFO cases were referred to law enforcement last year, Dr. Kirkpatrick told reporters, and, in some serious cases, to US counterintelligence investigators. \u2018There are some indicators that are concerning that may be attributed to foreign activity,\u2019 Dr. Kirkpatrick said, \u2018and we are investigating those very hard.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The physicist \u2014 whose classified work prior to \u1d00ssuming leadership of AARO included stints with the Air Force Research Laboratory and the CIA \u2014 expressed fear that foreign nations may be designing espionage drones specifically to evade US radar and other detection hardware.<\/p>\n

The annual report published Wednesday by Dr. Kirkpatrick and his team included a glossary to aid in the standardization of the once fringe topic of UFOs, now known professionally as UAP, for \u2018Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon.\u2019<\/p>\n

The glossary defined \u2018UAP Threat\u2019 as any UAP that demonstrate a national security risk to military \u2018persons, materiel, or information,\u2019 in an indication of the priority AARO has given to intelligence and espionage risks posed by the phenomenon.<\/p>\n

Despite Kirkpatrick\u2019s statement that his office is actively chasing down possible foreign espionage cases, AARO\u2019s annual UAP report drew a more measured conclusion: \u2018None of these UAP reports have been positively attributed to foreign activities\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
