US Congressman Tim Burchett said Aliens could be stationed in five or six deep water areas on Earth.
Burchett was filmed while walking down the street saying that unknown beings or objects might not be coming from outer space, but could already be here on Earth and may have been present for a very long time, possibly thousands of years.
He suggested they might be hiding in the deepest parts of the ocean rather than flying in from distant space, as people usually assume.
He noted that humans actually know more about the surface of the Moon than about what is happening in the deepest parts of the oceans, and claimed there are five or six extremely deep ocean areas where there appear to be more sightings of strange phenomena.
Because of this apparent pattern of sightings around deep water, he said it raises serious questions and makes him suspect that something unusual may be happening there.
He also said that a member of naval personnel told him about strange underwater craft that were pursued but could not be caught. According to what he was told, these objects were capable of moving at speeds of hundreds of miles per hour underwater, while the fastest human submarines can only reach around 40 miles per hour or slightly more.
This vast difference in speed, he said, makes him highly suspicious and curious, and he admitted that he has many unanswered questions about these underwater sightings and what these entities or craft might be.
