US Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has announced that there will be a hearing about MK-Ultra, a secret mind-control program run by the CIA during the Cold War on May 11.
Rep. Luna has posted about the upcoming hearing on X (formerly Twitter), writing “H on May13. Ultra. Oversight Taskforce,” and the hearing is planned for May 13.
MKUltra was a CIA mind-control program started in 1953 by CIA Director Allen Dulles. The main goal was to change or control people’s behavior using things like electroshock therapy, hypnosis, lie detector tests, radiation, and many different drugs, toxins, and chemicals.
Some people taking part in these experiments agreed to be there, but others were pressured, and some had no idea they were being used in a secret defense experiment.
Some MKUltra documents were only declassified and released by the National Archives in 2024, making new information available to the public.
