The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, led by Tulsi Gabbard, signals that the U.S. will soon declassify files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, UAPs, and UFOs.
On February 23, 2026, the official X account of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence posted: “And soon, files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, UAPs, and UFOs.”
This message was added to a list of other files that are already being released. These include files about the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK, Amelia Earhart, the “Russia hoax,” and claims of government weaponization. The post suggested that this is part of President Trump’s larger plan to increase transparency.
