This Billionaire who has poured millions into researching UFOs, consciousness, and the afterlife said, “Our soul transcends to the afterlife. Love is the most universally valuable thing.”
Robert Bigelow explained his view of what happens when a person dies; when they move from a physical body (incarnate) to a non-physical state (discarnate).
He told journalist George Knapp that every human has a spirit, and the soul goes along with it. But in his view, the soul isn’t a separate being; it’s the character or quality of the spirit itself. The soul shows the spirit’s moral nature; its integrity, goodness or badness, its capacity for love or hate.

Bigelow added that when someone dies, they take all their emotional and moral “baggage” with them from their current life, all the good, bad, and ugly parts. They don’t suddenly become angels or perfect beings. Any kind of spiritual growth or evolution must be earned over time.
He believes the most valuable thing a soul can develop is love. According to him, research and reflection both point to love as the highest and most universal achievement a being can attain.
However, he acknowledges that it’s hard for humans to fully live and express love because of how our physical brains and instincts are built, especially our primitive, survival-oriented “reptilian” brain that often makes us act out of fear or aggression rather than compassion.
